COT

Short COT today, but I’ve been noticing some narcissistic tendencies in myself lately when going about my days. My initial reaction to something is “how is it going to affect me??” During the Monday murph, I found myself counting the Merkins to avoid having to count the squats. “The in-laws are coming this weekend?? That totally ruins my not-yet developed plans!!” To a certain extent, I think this is human nature… but I think it’s important to recognize where our nature pulls us in the wrong direction and push against it. For me, lately, it’s narcissism… but it can be different things at different times of our lives. I can’t just say, “well that’s human nature… nothing I can do…” Take measure and fight against it.

Aye!
