Date: 06072022 – Weather: Raining Men

AO: The Trident

Q: Yodel

HIM (16):  Slick, Ozark (Respect), Slapshot, Roadhouse, Doggy Paddle, Truly, Hei Hei, Unicycle, Tonight Show, Mr Miyagi, Hard Hat, Rain Man, Room Service, Paddles (2x Respect), Pit Stop,

Yodel and Mufasa had a little Twitter battle as both wanted to have the coolest AO on this beautiful Tuesday. We may never know who won that battle, but Yodel decided to honor the M’s with his workout!

After the intro, the group moseyed around the Parking Lot, where Yodel prepared a nice Pre-Thang. Several Exercises helped the group to warm up while listening to Beyonce. Of course, 10 Yodel-Jax were the mandatory part of Yodel’s pre-thang.

The Thang was dedicated to Music and Merkins:

Song 1: Alicia Keys – Girl on fire –> side straddle hops throughout the song. Whenever she sings fire the HIM had to do a burpee –> everyone hated it!

Then, 20 Merkins

Song 2: Roxette: Look à Squat and fist pumps throughout the song. Whenever she sings Look the HIM did a jump squat.

Then, 20 Merkins

Song 3: Destiny’s Child: Say my name. HIM planked throughout the song and whenever they sang name the HIM did a Merkin.

Then, 20 Merkins

Song 4: All About that bass –> Low Dolley position and whenever they sang “bass” the HIM opened or closed their legs. The PAX struggled with Yodel’s accent here and doubted if he said bass, base, vase, or whatever. What can we say –> Yodel is bilingual, so, shut up.

Then, 20 Merkins

Song 5:  Weather Girls – Raining Men

The PAX did a deep squat and whenever it was Raining Men they did a Squat Jack. This was a nice ending to a great selection of songs.

The PAX moseyed back to the shovel flag to do 20 Merkins and a round of American Hammers before Yodel shared his COT:

Behind every successful man is a strong woman. We would not be the HIM we are without our M’s. Never forget the sacrifices they make to allow us to become better men, workers, husbands, and fathers.

Tonight Show prayed us out (He is a very talented preacher btw)

Aye, SYITG Yodel
