Warmarama: 10 Side straddle hops, 10 sun gods, 10 reverse sun gods, 10 tappy taps, 10 big ones, 20 High Knees I/C, 15 slap back jacks, 5 slurpees (slow burpees)
The Thang: We grabbed our coupons & headed down to the field, where there were cones set up in a square 20 yards apart. We partnered up & had 4 stations. PAX 1 would do 2 blockees, then run a lap (roughly 80 yards.) PAX 2 did AMRAP exercises until their partner returned. Once both PAX had run & did the exercises, they chose how to transport their coupons to the next station (murder bunny, rifle carry, farmer carry, bunny murder.) The 4 stations were: Kettle Bell Swings, Man Maker Merkins, Goblet Squats, & Shoulder Press.
We spent the last 4 minutes enjoying the song “Burning Down the House” and plank walking around the square (holding a plank & walking on your hands).
COT: The COT was about looking internally before blaming others & when faced with a challenging situation, look at what you can do first. It’s easy to point the finger & blame others, but is frustrating because we can’t control others. PAX were encouraged to “point the thumb” first and evaluate what they can control to improve the situation.
