Bloodshot met a fox, an actual fox, on the north end zone while setting up the field. We locked eyes with a mutual respect. I knew I had to abandon the plan to chase chickens on the field and the fox new it had to watch from the east hill. Bloodshot then welcomed the PAX and with no FNGs present, recited the 5 core principles, mission statement, and disclaimer. We moseyed around the track before we circled up at the goal line for warmarama.

My 4 year old son is at a stage when he is struggling to be heard. It takes him a little longer to verbalize his thoughts, and his sister talks circles around him. I’m always trying to let him and his sister know that it’s his turn to talk and We all are listening to him.
It got me to thinking about the art of listening and here are a few nice quotes I found:
