I arrived a few minutes before 5 AM, to scope out the surrounding area, and confirm my plan for the beatdown. The theme of this workout, and my COT is “Who is Number 1?”, and I tried to carry that theme throughout
I welcomed the PAX promptly at 5:30, and proclaimed the Mission Statement, Core Principals, Disclaimer, and Credo. Then we got to work.
WARM-O-RAMA:
We moseyed around the school 1 time. We performed 1 repetition of each of the following exercises:
Side Straddle Hop, Cherry Picker, Sun God (forward and backward), Tappy Tap, Tater Tap, Big One, Michael Phelps

We moseyed up the hill to a different parking lot
The pax performed 1 Merkin at the end of the parking lot, ran to the opposite end of the lot, and performed 10 Jump Squats. Mosey back to the other side for 2 Merkins. Return to the starting spot for 9 Jump Squats. We proceeded un that fashion until Omaha was called.
We returned to the flags in a roundabout manner
Omaha was called at 6:03 AM.

When you consider there are over 8 Billion people on earth, 330 Million people in the US, 1.9 million in Nebraska, or even just XX men in a circle, it is sometimes hard to feel that any of us are unique, that we stand out, that we matter. But I would argue that is not the case.
Take my son, Break Room as an example. Break Room has red hair, and that alone places him in a segment of the world population of 1-2 percent. Add in that he also has blue eyes and is left handed, and Break Room is part of a very small segment of the world population. How many of those 1-2% live in Omaha, have 2 higher education degrees, played baseball in college, and have traveled to a handful of foreign countries? Very few.
Likewise, each of us in this circle have a unique combination of characteristics and experiences. We each have unique DNA that make each one of us special. Each of us is NOT one of 8 Billion, but 1 of 1
Whether you believe in Buddha, Allah, Nature, Jesus Christ, or another Higher Power, you are known uniquely by that power. You are NOT 1 OF 8 Billion, you are 1 IN 8 Billion..
