Beacon Valley
June 12th, 2024
I took the country mile drive west to the wonderful town of Valley. As I was pulling in, I was reminiscing all the drives I took to Valley as a youth to St. John’s Catholic Church. Good memories, even when the CCD teacher kicked me out of class. Prob for good reasons. As I was pulling up, I saw a bunch of sweat dudes already making their way to the flags. The sweatiest of all was one of my favs – CHEAP SEATS! Those crazy BAMF’s did 7 miles this morning. Wild beasts of humans. So I arrived at 4:52 to get to the four mile pre run at 4:55. Lots of good looking dudes were arriving for the pre run. I attempted to keep pace with them and that lasted 30 seconds…then I tried to keep pace with Bernie…that lasted for about 10 minutes…until I had to turn around to the flags to start setting up the beatdown. That was my excuse… I just couldn’t keep up with those BAMF’s today. But there’s always tomorrow…except I’m Frucking tomorrow at the Maize, which you all should join me at. Back to the backblast….No FNG’s but it was good to see guys that I’ve been in the gloom with multiple times. Good times with great people, and a beautiful site. Speed Bump has done amazing things and the site is simply perfect. I might have to take that country mile drive west more often. Onto the beatdown…

COT – Fellowship can lead you to faith
I heard a Bible verse from John about telling us that we need fellowship with God. I immediately connected to F3 when I heard this. I’ve always viewed the three F’s as being separate, but they truly are not. Fitness is obvious but it connects with Fellowship and building those relationships, especially during the Fitness (maybe coffee more. During parts of beatdowns, I find myself asking God for some help to survive 😊 But in all honesty, we Christians need fellowship with God. We F3 members that are religious have a certain opportunity in F3. In no way do I ever want any F3 person trying to imprint anything on me, nor would I try to do it on anyone….but here comes the fellowship part – being there in case that person wants to talk about it makes the Faith/Fellowship connection a beautiful thing. One BAMF PAX member (who has the finest ass in F3) and I have had GREAT mumblechatter conversations about religion and he didn’t believe in God at the time. We had a great conversation of respect and love…and after this conversation I respected the Hell out of this HIM. So many times we Men are scared to talk about that, which is opposite of what F3 is about. So back to the man with the best ass, who I know he’s talked to numerous PAX members about his lack of faith, now he’s taken the path down faith which is why I believe the fellowship of F3 led to the Faith aspect…which is a beautiful thing of F3. I love the fellowship of F3 and will be forever grateful of it. The way I take F3 is that they all are interchangeable….I rely on each of them at different times. I never want us going down the path of imprinting anything on anyone (other than being badass leaders in our community) BUT I do want all to be available to ANYONE who wants to learn from others. It’s a beautiful thing when that happens and it’s something that makes me love this crazy ass cult. We have an amazing thing in F3 Omaha and I love it and will always cherish it due to Fitness – Faith – Fellowship. And speaking of fellowship, Speed Bump sucks because he loves Travis Kelce and Stripes sucks because he wears the wrong shade of blue….but damnit I freaking LOVE those two HIMs and I again will be forever grateful that F3 brought those BAMFs into my life. All the Love
