Thang:

The PAX were informed that we would play a game of good cop/bad cop. Unfortunately or fortunately, the PAX did not know which Q was which or was their even a good cop? The PAX decided which Q to follow as each went in different directions. Farva took his group southeast on the Papio trail and into the Eagle Hills neighborhood. Farva stopped at his parent’s house on Betsy avenue and said hi on their Ring doorbell. We ran past Rumsey station and joined back up with the Papio trail to head back to Halleck. We made it back to the pond just as ICB’s group was finishing a lap around the duck pond. Farva’s group had total milage that ranged between 4 and 5.5 miles.

CB’s group ran from the flags north on Halleck Park rd to the T intersection at Lincoln St

YHC took my group west on Lincoln to Washington St (84th St). First stop we did 12 merkins, 12 air squats, and 12 X-factors.

We then continued North to the Home Depot where were completed several rounds of bear crawls up the steep hill and your choice back down. After approx 10 minutes and lots of grumble chatter, we started back south on N. Adams Street.

For our next stop, we stopped in front of Papillion fire station #3. In bad cop glory we completed 12 monkey humpers (IC) and then 12 Carolina dry docks with our butts high in the air aimed at their garage doors.

We then continued back south and a block east stopping again at Lincoln and Washington for 12 big ones. We then returned to the flags. We beat the other patrol group and it was suggested we do a lap around the duck pond, which the group did together.

Both groups then converged for Mary (Sarpy Slammers)

COT:

Great to Q with my police brother of over 20 years and my F3 brother for a year now ICB. There are many cultures of brotherhood (Blood, Police, F3, etc.), but each is unique. But very rarely is the brotherhood completely positive, but that is where I believe F3 is different and I think this quote sums it up best. (Atomic habits) “One of the most effective things you can do to build better habits is to join a culture where your desired behavior is the normal behavior. New habits seem achievable when you see others doing them every day. If you are surrounded by fit people, you’re more likely to consider working out to be a common habit. Your culture sets your expectation for what is “normal.” Surround yourself with people who have the habits you want to have yourself. You’ll rise together.”
