12 Pax arrived at the flags, and we reviewed the core principals, mission, credo and disclaimer

For the past 9 months I have spent every Friday morning at the Bell Tower so this was my first time being at Rampage. For the record, the Ralston High School campus facelift is very impressive. Shingles was kind enough to supply a picture so I knew where to plant the flag! We circled up in what felt like the proper area to do so. I did receive some heckling about where I parked my truck tho.

• Sun Gods forward and reverse. Levy was in attendance so I added Johnny Dramas (his staple)

• Squat

• Big Ones – 10 (IC)

The PRETHANG:

• We left campus and ran to Turtle Creek park. Site Q was away so we decided to play. There were 3 glowing cones in the distance so the PAX knew we were in the right place.

The THANG:

As we arrived at Turtle Creek park (about half mile from campus) I took the PAX on what would be our course of action. There was a raised garden area that I placed cones and our set of exercises at. We paired up (had a perfect number with 12). While one man ran the course around the park, his partner completed the listed exercise. It was a cumulative number to reach with your partner. We executed 150 reps for exercises that included Dips, Step Ups, Flutter Kicks, Derkins, Sumo Squats. As we moseyed our half mile back to the flags we stopped halfway and did a serious round of Mary. These were PAX choice. When YHC felt our abs had enough, I called Omaha and we finished the trot back to the flags. We did still complete a round of Sarpy Slammers.

Circle of Trust:

Earlier in the week I received a call from my M. Her mom, who is helping watch our 8 month old, wasn’t feeling well and had to go to urgent care (she is doing fine btw). She needed me to leave work and watch the baby the rest of the day. Sounds simple, I know. Sadly, this is the first time in 21 years I have done that. It sounds really bad when said out loud. I realized a few things after the M pointed this out when we were talking later that night. I learned my company will go on just fine with out me there. I made note that there was no attendance award handed out or celebrated when I returned the next day. The other thing that was more obvious than ever, was how incredible my spouse is. She is an extremely strong and unselfish woman. To be fair, she didn’t work full time for the first 10 years our kids were growing up, but she handled the load of the parenting. The timing of this was perfect… Low Flow just spoke at his COT the day prior about how awesome the men of F3 are and we need to take time every now and then to recognize that. He is absolutely right, but most of us couldn’t be who we are without the support of an amazing M at home. Make sure they hear that from you.YHC prayed us out.

Aye! Stranglehold
