Circle of Trust: Set realistic expectations
It is easy in life to inflate expectations to a point that they are a bit unrealistic. Sometimes expectations can be inflated by what we see on social media. People looking so happy like everything is perfect. Perfect vacation to a tropical location or a neighbor gets a new fancy, expensive car and we say to ourselves, why does it seem that my family struggles and argues while everyone else’s family seems so happy. Why does everyone else get to go on great vacations or get new cars, but it just isn’t in the budget for us. The truth is that everyone is dealing with something and the expectation of life really should be that it is hard sometimes and you have to fight through that. Fighting through it is what makes us stronger and prepares us to win future battles. Set realistic expectations for life and you’ll end up being a happier person in the end.
