- CoT – YHC Shared Envy & Self Love
- In a recent interview with Tenderfoot, he said that he was posting with all these cool guys and YHC reminded him that we all feel the same about him, he is one of the cool guys.
- When we come out to F3 we all get to be cool guys because of the culture and values of our group. We all love and respect each other and want to support each man where he is – this is our credo, we support you where we find you, but we don’t leave you there we keep pushing you to accelerate and be the best version of yourself you can be!
- YHC recently read a book by Phil Stutz called “Lessons for Living” where he talks about the connection between envy and self love – the antidote to envy and the way we build confidence is through self love.
- He explains that envy often stems from societal pressures and the illusion that others live perfect, problem-free lives. This belief creates a standard where one’s self-esteem is linked to being like these seemingly ideal individuals. Envy arises when people feel they fall short of these unrealistic standards.
- Stutz suggests that the way to combat envy is through cultivating self-love, which involves accepting oneself fully, including all flaws and imperfections. By embracing the reality that life includes pain, adversity, and uncertainty, individuals can start to see their value beyond external comparisons. Developing self-love means recognizing that adverse events are a natural part of life and do not diminish one’s worth. Instead of viewing these events as failures, Stutz encourages seeing them as opportunities for growth and developing resilience.
- He also highlights the importance of small, everyday actions in building self-love. Simple practices like choosing kindness over anger in minor situations can strengthen one’s capacity for self-compassion and emotional control, ultimately reducing feelings of envy and fostering a more authentic sense of self-worth
- Just post and let us help you build your confidence and sense of self-worth!
