We began the morning activities picking up our coupons and mosey’ng to the South entrance of the school.

The Thang – Tabata:

The tabata was broken into 3 sets of 10 exercises.  Each exercise was 45 seconds long with a 15 second break between exercises.  After all 10 exercises were completed, there was a 1 minute break before the next set started.  The 10 exercises were:

  1. Side Straddle Hops
  2. Merkins
  3. Deep Squats
  4. Overhead Coupon Presses
  5. Flutter Kicks
  6. High Knees
  7. Coupon Curls
  8. Monkey Humpers
  9. Tricep Dips
  10. Reverse Crunches

We stayed together as a group for The Thang.  We completed 2.5 sets and decided to modify to incorporate a cooldown on the North side of the school where the flags were planted.  Omaha was called at 6:00 am.

Mary:

The group relocated to the North side of the school and finished with a short broga session led by Hard Hat.

COT

In a recent work training we spent some time talking about vulnerability in business.  In our culture vulnerability, especially in men, is often perceived as a weakness.  That leads men to thinking they have can’t show vulnerability which results in a lot of men pretending to have everything in their lives under control.  The truth is that none of us are perfect and none of us have everything figured out.  As men, we need to change our perceptions around vulnerability.  Vulnerability should be something we embrace and encourage others to share.  It’s time to change our belief that vulnerability is a weakness and start to look at vulnerability as courage.  We should all try to be more courageous and support the men around us that are willing to share their vulnerabilities.

We finished in Prayer led by Tumbleweed.

Thanks for the support this morning.  It was an honor to lead the PAX at Iditarod!
