The Ruckus
Pacific Meadows Park
Rainy, mid 50s
11 PAX: Longneck, Bullseye, Killians, Baby Back, Steeple, Smooth Operator, Chalupa, Falsetto, Lemu, Flintstone and Golden Pike
Q: Da Fridge
We welcomed the PAX to another sold out Ruckus at Pacific Meadows Park. We went through the morning’s match card which included the five core principles, the disclaimer, mission statement and the purpose of F3. No FNGs were in attendance and I explained Da Thang.
Da Thang (Da Main Event)
A two-plus mile ruck with a different wrestler’s theme song playing every 40 seconds. The PAX had to guess which wrestler went with the theme song. If they correctly identified the wrestler that went with the particular theme, we continued to walk. If they were unable to ID the wrestler, we stopped and did either 5 Air Squats or 10 Raise Da Roofs.
Announcements/Prayers
Our man Bullseye will be taking over the flag at Catalyst come December.

Prayers for Falsetto and his family after the passing of his first cousin.
COT
Bear with me on this one, we are taking the scenic route to get to the point of today’s COT.
In professional wrestling there are two types of wrestlers; babyfaces and heels. Babyfaces are the good guys, while heels are the bad guys. Any conflict or issue between a babyface and a heel can be called a feud and their feud can also be referred to as a program, or a more modern term is storyline (more of a production and movie view of looking at pro wrestling).
During their program, there is always a central issue between the babyface and the heel. Whether the babyface has been chasing a championship and has come up short time after time and they are getting another shot at the champion heel. Or maybe the babyface and heel used to be friends or tag team partners and the heel betrayed or turned on the babyface. Or the heel could have attacked the babyface or their friend or family member and possibly injured them; and the babyface is out for revenge.
Throughout the program between the two rivals, there is a build where maybe the babyface almost wins the title, but is screwed and the heel escapes as champion. Or the babyface almost gets their hands on the heel, but the bad guy gets out of it and squirms away.
Throughout this build, the crowd and fans are constantly building and getting behind the babyface and eventually the babyface finally overcomes all adversity and either wins the title or finally gets a hold of the heel and gives them their comeuppance. This can result in a massive pop, when the crowd explodes in cheers and celebrates the babyface’s triumph. This is my guilty pleasure and I love going down the YouTube rabbit hole of big wrestling pops where the crowd explodes in a burst of cheers during the babyface’s celebration.
Throughout that program and story build, fans from all walks of life unite as one to get behind and cheer for the babyface to come out on top. It doesn’t matter if they are in the cheap seats or front row, where they live, their beliefs, their values, their political views, what size, color or religious views; all of these fans go through the peaks and valleys of the babyface’s journey and celebrate together with the babyface.
It’s no surprise to anyone that our country is divided. In our history, this is the third most divided we have been as a nation; behind the Civil War and Wrestlemania 17, Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock.
Right now our biggest issue in this country is the massive division that divides sides. It is an us or them mentality. There is no middle ground and people are so divisive that they refuse to even work together. I even see among Christians who refuse to even acknowledge other people’s beliefs or force them to change.
But like wrestling we need to come together and unite as one to cheer on the babyface. The babyface being the success and growth of the United States of America. It should not matter who you are, where you are from, what you believe in or your views; lets come together not as us and them, but as everyone and work through our issues and unite as one group with a common goal. Making the United States a successful and great place to live and raise a family.
As High-Impact Ment and leaders of our households, workplace and communities; we need to set the example of unity and be the guiding light. If we can set that example, people will follow out lead
So I promise you that no matter who wins today; whether that is school board, congress or president; that there will be a tomorrow and the sun will shine. Let’s rally behind these people and together cheer for the babyface (America) and lift this country back up to the high standard that it needs to be.
I thank all of you for coming out this morning and bearing through the rain and cold and allowing me to indulge in my old wrestling fandom. I leave you with this as I end all of my COTs, Keep the Hope, Keep the Faith, Keep Busting Your Butts and just Keep Posting.
