  • Mission Statement and Disclaimer
  • Motto
  • Disclaimer
  • FNG’s First Time Oracle’ers

Q went on to explain that in three years, today was the first time he had Q’d at The Oracle.  Not because of any personal issues with the site…just have never led.  With that we are going to bring some past beat downs that Ketchup enjoyed on a Saturday.

We then moseyed the long way to the football field West of the Auditorium.

6:25 BD 2 – Octagon of Pain

After BD 1, we stayed on the field for an Octogon of pain.  8 stations set up.   Grab a partner, and evenly distributed at each station.  One exercise at each station.  Rotate clockwise.  First lap around, do 8 reps of each exercise.  Once complete 8th station, run to middle and each partner does 5 burpees, then proceed to Lap 2 and do 16 reps at each station.

  • Diamond Merkins
  • Copperhead Squats (I/C)
  • Plank Jacks (I/C)

  • Bonnie Blairs
  • Bobby Hurleys

Flaccid Omaha called to 640 to move to the next station.

6:40 BD 3 – Main Street Relays

Following the end of the Octogon we moseyed to divided road and split into two groups set up for the main street relays.   Q explained that this pays homage to the tranny show relays that we do in Gretna.  Two stacks of cones were setup set up along with a list of Exercises. Each  group does all the exercises listed.  Once done, 1 PAX runs down the road, deposits the cone and then runs back to the group.  Rest of the group planks until PAX returns. This is repeated 4 times until all the cones are moved.  Good guys won and by good guys I mean my team.

6:50 Final Warm Down – Woosah Dance

The final mosey was made back towards the flags where we stopped at the roundabout with the lit up Christmas tree where instructions were given….think of one or two things that you failed at this year that you are still holding onto or are beating yourself up over.  It doesn’t matter why you failed or what is it…but I want you to hold those in your mind…dance around like an idiot…and let it go.  And after this is done…it has to be over.   There is nothing you are going to do that is going to change what happened.  Forgive yourself, change your behavior and move on.  The next 4 minutes were spent dancing around like idiots to Taylor Swifts Shake it off!!!

Several new moves were created:

  • Mini Rockettes
  • N’Sync’s

For some reason security kept driving by and was laughing at us each time.

6:55 6-MOM

We had enough so called it at the flags.

COT

Several opportunities for 3rd F.

Talked about how great Saturdays are for leading and if it is intimidating, just break into 3 or 4 small 10 to 15 minutes activities and spread it out over a little bit of distance.  Saturdays are awesome…so sign up and lead!
