“The Sanitarium & Back Run”
of PAX: 10
QIC: Ferdinand
5:00am
Firewalker, Trench & Jean Claude
5:30am
Ferdinand welcomed the Pax to F3 – reminding them of the mission to Plant, Grow and Serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership. One FNG today and his name is Sling Shot!
Ferdinand went on to cover the 5 core principles of F3.
1) Open to ALL men.
2) Always Free.
3) Always held outdoors.
4) Led in a rotating fashion.
5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT).
Ferdinand shared the “The Sanitarium & Back Run” path with the pax. We were running by 5:32am.
5:32-6:13am
We ran West on Lincoln to 84th Street and then headed North to The Sanitarium (some ran around the track once or twice) and turned around and headed back at the 22 minute mark. It ended up being between 4-5 miles depending on your pace. We all finished close to the same time!
6:13-6:20am
We started Mary and did 20 Sarpy Slammers IC in a rotating fashion touching every PAX member twice. We then went into Name-o-rama. The following members were present for a total of 10 PAX members: Knobs, Firewalker, Baby Shark, FNG – Sling Shot, Sparty, 8 Miler, Zorro, Schnapps, Trench, and Ferdinand!
Announcements/Prayer Requests:
• Firewalker mentioned that a couple PAX were doing the 4X4X48 and to support them and put them in our thoughts and prayers.
• It was also mentioned to keep all the PAX in our thoughts and prayers as some are dealing with injuries and other family health concerns.
Ferdinand started off by thanking all the PAX members for showing up! He then spoke about enjoying the process as it will make the outcomes that much sweeter. This goes into getting into shape, going from your first house to your dream house, hitting your goals, buying your favorite car, paying off your student loans, etc. So many get caught up into wanting the outcomes to happen right away and forget how rewarding/fun the process was along the way!
