VQ: Thunder Head

As I was planning my first VQ for the PAX, I came across a quote for my inspiration for the morning – “Be hungry for success, hungry to make your mark, hungry to be seen and to be heard and to have an effect. And as you move up and become successful, make sure also to be hungry for helping others.” – Arnold Schwarzenegger

WARMARAMA:

25 SSH

10×10 Flying sun gods “Nancy Kerrigan’s”

20 Plank Jacks

THANG: The thang was arranged in a string of pearls(or frogs) type of fashion.  The trail around the lake… “The Necklace”…. Was set to have a lot more pearls, however, we had to call Omaha at the half way point due to some safety concerns.  Anyone ever see what happens to Ethanol when it is struck by lightning?  It is a very messy sight to see!  Things started off NASTY…. With a real crowd pleaser… the DMB.  As we are banging them out, all I could think about was that we were eating our frog first thing…. Turns out we had a much bigger frog waiting for us at the next stop… and the stop after that……..and so on……….   ThunderHead broke out a new one… the Bat Wing.  This one really got the group fired up… there were some comments about hate, disrespect and overall disregard for the feelings of his fellow man.  All in all, it was still a beating for the ages.  VQ went off without a hitch and all PAX left better than they were when they got there………… AND STILL ALIVE!

15 Double merkin burbees

20x20x20x20 Bat Wings

Joe Henricks – Backwards bearcrawl up the hill then 20 derkeins

Prisoner Indian run with a little interruption by a lightning strike for adrenaline.

COT: The Maize welcomed #100 this morning.  A big shout out to Side Car for braving some unfavorable conditions to break the mold.  Tonight Show closed us out with a prayer and sent us off to make a difference.
