I welcomed the PAX of F3 Omaha to Paradise Island. F3 stands for Fitness, Faith and Fellowship, the 5 core principles : always free, open to all men, always outside, pier lead in a rotating fashion and ends in a circle of trust. The mission statement was recited and then I announced that I am not a professional and to modify as necessary.

Warm-O-Rama:
The PAX were grouped into teams of three then we went straight into the Thang The Thang:
From the shovel flags we traveled north down Regency Pkwy to Westchester Dr. where we turned right to travel up to Harney Pkwy N then turned east down Harney St. to 90th where we turned right and traveled south to Pacific St. took another right on Pacific traveling west back to the shovel flags.

22 slammers Announcements/Prayers were said COT:
I told the PAX about my experience running my first half-marathon Thanksgiving day “thankful trot” and what lead up to it a month prior. Farva and Firewalker were the only reason I was able to complete it. Sometimes during the half I would be running with both of them sometimes only one but I was never alone for the entire 1 hr & 55 min it took me to finish. While in the middle of the run I told Farva he really didn’t need to run with me “I knew I was holding him back” and he says to me ( I get more satisfaction helping you run a half for your first time then trying to finish a in a record time alone). This one little statement followed by his and firewalker’s actions by never letting me be alone, pushing me mentally and finishing with me. Although it may have not been a big deal to them it was a HUGE deal to me. Sometimes we overlook doing something that may seem like a small gesture to us but can be a huge deal to someone else!
