PAX:  Lite Brite, Folsom, Hard Hat, Cosmo, Stella, Griswold

5:30am – Intro, mission statement, 5 core principles, disclaimer, No FNGs.

5:32am – I let the PAX know that since it was sloppy out that I was changing my plans.  I’m not one of those guys like Hard Hat that gets energized by crappy weather.  See NoR video if you don’t know what I’m talking about.  Being cold and wet isn’t something I enjoy.

So, we’re running today boys.

We took off up Huffy Hill and down broadmoore across 90th street into the neighborhood and stopped for an upper body superset.  Did 10 merkins, 10 alt shoulder taps, 10 drydocks with no rest for 3 sets.

We kept running west to Regency neighborhood and stopped at the entrance for another super set.  This time, lower body.  Did 10 feet together squats, 10 normal stance squats, 10 wide squats, 10 jump squats x 2 sets with no rest.

We decided due to time to head back and give hard hat what he was longing for.  We ran back to the basketball court at swanson and hit up Capitol hill as I like to call it.  We would bernie sanders up the hill, run back down and do 15 IC SSH.  Hard hat decided it was time to get sloppy and enjoy the giant puddle at the end of the hill.  He slid in like a champion and got absolutely soaked.  Stella still owes him a cup of coffee.

We finished off with a core super set which consisted of 10 gas pumpers, 10 flutter kicks and 10 big boys x 2 sets.  And we added two rounds of American hammers.

CoT:  I shared a quote I enjoyed from Bruce Lee.  “ Don’t Speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke.  Your body doesn’t know the difference.  Words are energy and cast spells, that’s why it’s called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself and you can change your life.  What you’re not changing, you’re also choosing.”  Good reminder to be kind to yourself and also controlling your effort day to day.
