VQ forgot Announcements/Prayer Requests
COT: Thanked Khakis for the workout as it was the same beatdown the VQ had on his first post on July 19, 2022. Talked about personal progress as it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all the incredible HIMs! This tied into the overall message about never forgetting where you came from as those experiences—good or bad—can be utilized when needed to help you or others. Ended by using a quote recently heard from UNL Volleyball Coach, John Cook after his team was dominated by Wisconsin…”winning doesn’t owe you anything!”. I elevated the message to life as it also doesn’t owe you anything so go create the life/legacy you want to be remembered for!
