PAX:No Cry, Rush Hour, Guts, Ditty, Bovine, E85, Othello, Rancid, Invictus
QIC: Invictus

On a few previous mornings, YHC slept past a couple of alarms to wake up on time, so I went to bed early enough to relax my head and get ready for this morning.
Luckily, I was lightly dozing when 4am came around. Head popped off the pillow and I got up to take the dog out and gather my things.

0505 – YHC arrived on site no cars yet, but Rancid pulled in right when I set off to set up cones for what looked like was a Pre-ruck. No other prerunners. Having adequate light
was key for the beatdown. My process for picking a spot started with a google earth measurement of various distances between points around the park. It ended with seeing how the
lighting situation turned out. Nonetheless, we had enough headlamps to go around to avoid tripping and running into each other.

0530 – YHC welcomed the PAX with the following.

F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith. F3 is Free, Open to All Men, Always Outside, Lead in a rotating fashion among the PAX, and will end in a Circle of Trust.

The mission of F3 is to Plant, Grow, and Serve small workout groups for the reinvigoration of male community leadership.

Credo: Leave no man behond, but leave no man where you found them.

YHC is not a fitness pro, so the PAX should modify any of the workouts as they see fit as they are merely recommendations.

No FNG’s.

Mosey to Warmarama – Small parking lot at top of hill next to parking

15 Alt Shoulder Taps IC
15 Imperial Walkers IC
15 Mountain Climbers IC
16 Big Ones
15 Tappy Taps

The Thang – mosey to the round-a-bout entrance to the park on the Northwest corner. Cones at the peak of the round-a-bout and 3/4 of the way down the entrance road.

BOMBS – 2-man team style with a runner, cumulative team reps. Since YHC was the odd man out when counting off teams, I was humbled to be hand picked by E85 and Bovine to join them.

50 Burpees
100 Overhead Claps
150 Merkins
200 Big Boys
250 Squats (Air)

Lots of mumblechatter throughout, Ditty was practically sprinting the running portion; E85 couldnt remember the name of the muscle in the front of his shoulder that was on fire
from the burpees, claps, and merkins; YHC’s pecs were burning. My Big Boy situps eventually turned into LBC’s. I was glad to see all teams get a good portion of the way through squats.

Omaha called at 0603 – mosey to flags.

MARY – 2 rounds of American Hammers, Rancid style.

Annoucements and Prayers

Othello and Bovine mentioned the Chris “Nugent” Gradoville moment of silence and remembrance at next Friday AO’s.
Rush Hour talked about the Our Lady of Lourdes festival going on this weekend. Open for anyone to drop by.
Prayers for Ditty for health.

I was thinking about the phrase we have all heard before “Honesty is the best policy”. Most of us heard this when we were kids from our parents, teachers, or whatever mentor we had in
our lives. This taught us how to form and keep relationships with our friends and families. Now as adults, I am starting to see how important it is to be honest with yourself. This is ALSO
how we foster relationship with those same people. It is important to be open and vulnerable to keep our mental health in check and let other people know they are not alone.

YHC concluded the morning in prayer.

Aye! – Invictus
