The THANG

The time is now to start training for IronPAX in a few weeks so we recycled one of last year’s weekly challenges, but modified.

We broke into 2 man groups for a good old fashioned two man grinder.

Group #1 met at the West side of the basketball court with their coupons to work through the list of exercises progressively with their partner.

  • 200 – Curls
  • 200 – Squats
  • 150 – Overhead Press
  • 150 – Kettlebell Swings
  • 100 – Merkins
  • 100 – Thrusters

Group #2 ran out to the cones, completed 3 burpees, and then returned to relieve their partner.

“Omaha” was called and we moseyed back to the flags for Mary.

6MOM consisted of:

  • 2 rounds of Rancid style American Hammers

Announcements:

  • New site launching on Sept. 30 @ Grove Park. Will be a coupon site with Fine Print as the site Q.

Prayers:

  • No prayers announced this morning.

Circle of Trust:

Your life is like a movie. A series of individual pictures which combine to complete a movie.

Each individual event of your life has meaning and purpose, but they are not the sum of your purpose. Some events may feel great and some may suck. But they all have meaning to your life.

In the end each of these individual events leads to your completed movie called life.

When you are in an event that you don’t like, keep in mind it is just one of the many individual pictures that make up your life. There will be better pictures to come, just keep pushing yourself to get to those better pictures.

Obi-Wan led us out in prayer.

Aye!
