On the narrow side of the grassy area we ran (to the other side of parking spots East to west) did 3 merkins then came back.  We did this every 1.5 min Then continued to do the following.

25 T- Merkins,

50 Air Squats

25 V-UPs or Big boys

25 Mt. Climber (I.C.)

25 Shoulder Taps (I.C.)

Rinse and repeat

We had some music going with some great pandora commercials in the middle of it.  Doggie paddles was going strong with some panting…  The pax pushed themselves at the pace they wanted to so it was great to see everyone give their best.  However after 18 min into it they were wanting to start the game…

Ultimate Freesbie.  counted off, If frisbee hit ground (Turnover) did 2 merkins, if Point, then the team that scored did 7 bobby hurleys and the other team did 7 Burpees.  We modified it to lower numbers as the game went on.  It was a close game and still not sure who won.  But we did get a workout in and kept moving.

Announcements:  If you like ultimate frisbee show up to the canyon early they play weekly before beat down.  

COT:  It was a year ago I did my first V-Q at Wild Kingdom.  There I talked about how I caught an amazing touchdown pass but broke my collarbone and some ribs and how that consumed my thoughts but also allowed me to do some self reflection back in 2017 and then 4 months later run the Good Life ½ Marathon.

Comparing that to the Divorce.. Well I thought I would be able to talk about something else a year later but I’m still in the thick of it.  Just like a broken Collar bone and ribs it is extremely painful.  However I have f3 this time:  I show up even on days I don’t feel like it.  I keep coming back for the  Fellowship, Coffee, D3, Fitness, exploring Faith, and so much more .  2 other pax members in the circle have gone through similar situations and have been a beacon of light to me while everyone else is still encouraging and there for me as well.  Reminding me it will come to an end and it’s okay to be emotional.  Thank you F3Omaha!
