“Swiper’s Greatest Hits”
10 Pax: Low Flow, Duracell, Gipper, Double Dip, Chernobyl, Girl Dad, Swiper, Cobalt, Tony The Tiger, Milo
5:00 am Pre Pre Run: Girl Dad OYOBNA
5:30 am Pre Run: Girl Dad, Swiper, Cherynobyl, and found Tony The Tiger halfway through
I welcomed the Pax to F3 – and explained it is Fitness, Fellowship and Faith – reminding them of the mission to Plant, Serve and Grow small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.
I covered the 5 core principles of F3. 1) Open to ALL men. 2. Always Free. 3) Always held outdoors, 4) Lead in a rotating fashion and 5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT).
I covered the Credo: Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him. And we would live the credo out today. We would be moving a lot. More on that later.
6:06 am Warm-a-rama: Swiper’s Greatest Hits, Vol. 1
We started with a loop around the Halleck Pond and came back to the Shelter. We performed the following exercises:
- 7 Tappy Taps
- 7 Tater Taps
Then we did Contra Burpees to the song, “Cold Beer Calling My Name”. Every time they said the word “Beer” in the song, we would do a contra burpee, adding one push-ups to the burpee. We would get to 11-12 Contra Burpees.
6:12am Pre Thang: Swiper’s Greatest Hits, Vol. 2
It was on. I am just going to start by saying we got 5.35 miles in workout, that has to be some kind of record for a Saturday beatdown. It was Glorious. We started by heading to the West Papio Trail and headed West. While running we would do Cherry Pickers or Cherry Swipe’s (Thanks Mother Goose). We did those from the Trailhead to the sand volleyball courts. That was a LOOOOOONG way. One guy did them longer, guess who: Duracell.
6:21 The Thang – Swiper’s Greatest Hits, Vol. 3
We stopped at Washington and Lincoln at the park and Boy Scout building. I split the group into groups of 2. Girl Dad waited for me.
Partner 1 – 10 Pull ups, push and relieve partner 2
Partner 2 – would do Balls to the Wall until Partner returned.
We did two sets.
We mosey’d to the pedestrian bridge. We did Super Mario Jumps across the bridge. That was harder than I thought.
6:30 The Thang – Swiper’s Greatest Hits, Vol. 3
Take three of the Walls of Jehricho. We would do the following:
I explained to the Pax we would do the Walls of Jehricho. We are going to complete 7 exercises and run 1 lap around Papillion Middle School. Then we would complete that first exercise and add a second exercise of 7 and do another lap. We would do this until we got to the final lap where we did all 7 exercises and one final lap
- 7 Burpees
- 7 Donkey Kicks
- 7 WWI Sit Ups
- 7 Chicken Peckers
- 7 Control Freak Merkins
- 7 Jump Squats
- 7 Clap Merkins
Once we finished I told the Pax to face the sunrise, and to take everything that has them worried, is holding them back, or anything that causes anxiety and give it to HIM, the ultimate HIM. Then on 3 we would let out a loud scream. That felt good.
I mentioned that I had Knockout set up and we should run by and pick up my cones and balls. We decided to play one game. A wrestler, Double Dip ended up winning, lol.
We ran back
7:00 am 6MOM
Passed on this today as we were behind. We got enough in anyway.
7:05 am NOR
The Name-a-rama was completed – see above for list of those who posted. This was a mobile NOR, I ran ahead and grabbed my phone and went back and did the NOR on the move, second time I have done this and its pretty funny.
- Blood Drive
- 1776 on July 2
- Tear down Sanitarium Shed
- Our country
- Those that have died or dealing with sickness
My COT was focused around and in the Walls of Jehricho and how the Pax need to trust in Jesus / God or their higher power to let go of things and give them to HIM. Trust in His hand.
