5:15 AM      Black Tuesday welcomed the Pax to F3 – reminding them of the F3 Mission: Plant, Grow and Serve small workout groups of men for the invigoration of male community leadership.

Black Tuesday then recited the 5 core principles of F3.  1) Free of charge 2) Open to all men.  3) Held outdoors, 4) Peer led in a rotating fashion and 5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT).

Black Tuesday then informed the group that he is not a professional and to modify as necessary.

The PAX then moseyed to north end of parking lot for the Warm-O-Rama, and associated top gun trivia question:

COT:

YHC detailed out why the beatdown had the level of complexity that it had, because I’m an electrical engineer and feel the need to over complicate simple tasks.  From there dove into an analogy that we can all keep in mind to be the best that we can be:

  1. Signal Vs Noise
    1. Electrical noise is the result of random electrical signals getting coupled into circuits where they are unwanted, i.e., where they disrupt information-carrying signals.
      1. Whats the point and the analogy?  NOISE DISRUPTS THE MESSAGE or INTENT
    1. Electrical Engineers have developed filters to block/clean out noise in signals – we need to find ways to do the same with our everyday “noise” or distractions.
    1. As leaders – Concept applies to everyday items as well
    1. Professional:  Strong leaders are very good at filtering out the noise.
    1. Personal:  Lots of noise that we experience everyday
      1. Financial
      1. Work
      1. Family/Kids/M’s
      1. Internal
    1. Personal noise can lead you to lose focus on the big picture.
    1. Need to find ways to re-focus/filter out the noise
      1. DON’T LET IT RUIN YOUR DAY!
    1. Focus on the overall signal, not the noise

Thank you for the support thus far and posting for my VQ!!! Keep accelerating and remember to focus on the message not the noise!!  BT
