Before we set out for our long Mosey, I wanted to share a book that I started reading, The Go-Giver, which is a good/quick read for entrepreneurs and leaders. In reference to this book, I wanted to fire up the PAX by coining us the “Do-ing Dudes”, as in, Dudes doing stuff and getting after it. Let’s just say, it started off ok at best, as the PAX were just kind of going along with it to be nice. Though, as I wrapped up the beatdown, it came out a lot more differently, which was slightly embarrassing after I noticed it, though greatly hilarious to reflect. More to come on this shortly, don’t worry, it was catch on video and left for everyone’s enjoyment.

A beautiful life is about to unfold for you. Don’t let your thoughts tell you otherwise.
“to think about something too much or for too long.” While it’s human nature to think things through when making a decision or evaluating a situation, it becomes overthinking when you can’t get out of your own head. It happens to all of us at some point in our lives – we all experience events that cause us worry or stress.
Ways to face your music/fears:
- Identify your destructive thought patterns
- Manager your Story
- Let go of the past
- Live in the moment
- Take control of your emotions
- Focus on Solutions
- Know the difference b/w fear and intuition
- Ask yourself the right questions
Work to be healthy mentally, physically, radiantly to be a great leader in your community and family.
As we completed the name-o-rama video of the PAX, I concluded the video with myself and an inspirational message to the PAX. Let’s just say, it sounded ok in my head, but when I said it, it didn’t’ sound as I intended, which erupted in laughter. As a coach inspires his players to “go get em”, I tried to chant a similar hurrah, though the execution missed it’s mark as I shouted “Doin Dudes…. Baby”…… this silenced the PAX to give them time to absorb, double take, and react. We awkwardly looked at each other, murmured some sarcastic remarks, and started laughing. Ya, speed square…. “doin dudes”…. Ok…… The PAX were very supportive of my mistake, though we all started cracking up, as the intended motivation became a comic relief that helped take the edge of the morning beat down. My mistaken chant “Doin Dudes” became a funny saying to poke fun at while we were enjoying our morning coffeeteria. It was a funny way to lighten up the morning and remember that sometimes things come out of your mouth different than you intended.
I look forward to the next Q opportunity!
14 Do-er Dudes pounded the pavement, lugged the bridge, and sprinted the streets & swung COUPONS before we jugged jugs of KOAs coffee together! In reference to the book, Go-Giver, our PAX were doing it right, as I coined us as the “Do-ing Dudes” team this AM! You know what I mean
