40 degrees with a rainy/snowy mix

PAX: Diddy, Girldad, Yogi, Black Tuesday, Echo, Tony the Tiger and YHC (Cheap Seats)

Cheap Seats welcomed 6 HIM to the Farm on a very wet morning.  Gave the mission statement, disclaimer and Credo.

The PAX then moseyed around the square to the top of hill in downtown Springfield to complete warm-a-rama.

We completed Kathestinics that included, high knees, butt kicks, Karaoke facing West and Karaoke facing East.  Then we did some step-ups on the stairs right by downtown.

Pre Thang:  We then moseyed to the bottom of the hill downtown on the main street to complete piggy back rides.  Each person grabbed a partner and carried their partner up the hill to the stop sign.  Then then moseyed back down the hill and switched turns.  Then we did wheel barrows with each partner halfway up the hill and then switched partners.  We were soaked FYI: )

Thang:   Then we went back to the main square where we plant the flags and completed a push station workout around the square.  2 people at ARMS, 3 people at Legs and 2 people at MISC.  The ARM station was the push group and below were the exercises

Announcements Prayer Request

Several Prayer requests for sickness and illnesses going around the PAX.  Provided an update that Paisley is doing well and on the road to recovery.

COT was about Peace and understanding.  Shared with the PAX that through the stress of life that we need prayer and time with our SKY Q.  We need to treat him like our best friend to fully understand all the things that affect us in positive or negative way.  I shared that my family has been really suffering with some anxiety and depression (primarily my mother).  It reminded me of a bible verse that I turn to quite often:

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I ended by challenging the PAX to continue to develop a relationship with Jesus and to let the anxiety of this world fall at his feet.
