Weather: 50 Degrees, Dry, Cloudy

Q: Side Dish

Black Jack, Blue Chip, Jeeves, Beeps, Rooster, Gunner, Othello, Grease Fire, Wile E., Mac and Cheese, Demogorgon, Honey Stinger

Pax began the morning being treated to a terrible Irish accent, 5 core principals, mission, vision, and values.

Quick mosey to the landing for some side straddle hops, tappy taps, windmills, and sun gods

Count off in 1s and 2s, your partner is your immediate neighbor.

First partner does dips, second partner runs up the stairs and down the other set for 1 lap, repeat until 4 laps are completed between the pair or Omaha is called

Mosey from the landing down to the Dodge Street bridge, split into 1s and 2s, 2s are the push group to start

Group 1 chooses their own exercise on the Memorial Park side of the bridge, 17 reps at a time, rotating who picks until pushed

Group 2 runs across the bridge to complete their exercise by doing the following:

Pick 1 card from the deck and perform an exercise based on suit, Hearts = Merkins, Spades = LBCs, Clubs = Air Squats, Diamonds = Mahktar N’Daiyes. Perform the number of exercises based on the value of the card, i.e. 5 of spades = 5 LBCs. Red suits are double, face cards are 10, i.e. Queen of diamonds = 20 Mahktars. Any Ace is 10 burpees, doubled for red suits, pulling a joker is 25 burpees.

Post thing:

Pax gathered on the bridge for 17 monkey humpers before returning to the flags.

Continue to pray for the 2.0s, for Wile E. as he continues his education, and for our loved ones in the hospital.

The Nugent Flag was present and passed from Grease Fire to Wile E.

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about what I want out of my life in the immediate future in terms of education and my career. I have options, but each of those comes with its own pros and cons and its own stresses. I don’t want to give anything up and the challenges I’m facing aren’t challenges of want, but abundance. I wouldn’t grow by giving up the things that give me anxiety, I have to push through them. The quote that I’ve been thinking a lot about recently is ‘Do not pray for easier lives, pray to be stronger men.’ Easier doesn’t get me anywhere I want to go, stronger does.
