5:30 Welcome! Mission of F3 is to plant, grow, and serve small workout groups for the reinvigoration of male community leadership. Went through the core principles. Feeny announced we would be staying low & out of the wind by running through the neighborhoods North of the pond. Due to the cold conditions, we wanted to stay tight together and maintain a group pace
5:31- started to take off. Went through the neighborhood streets and everyone was together. We went up Parc Dr. & took a left at Crest. From Crest, we went left on Gayle St, which then curves into Michelle Pkwy. From Michelle, we want left on 72nd and then right on Patricia Dr. On Patricia, we said hello to Fenney’s childhood home. We went up and down the streets of Juniper, Pineview, and Driftwood, making it up to Cederdale Rd. Heading East on Cederdale, we then took a left on Lafayette, hit up Crest Dr. again, then came back toward the site.
6:07 – went right into C.O.T with Nameorama, announcements, and prayers. Ear Tag & his family lost their dog the day before so we mentioned this in our prayer. Message was “When it’s too tough for them, it’s just right for us.” This is a message Marv Levy, former coach for the Buffalo Bills gave his team after some tough defeats in Super Bowls in the early 90’s. Keep fighting, keep doing it with those you appreciate and love, and know that the adversity that comes your way makes the conditions just right for you. Kneeled in prayer and then congratulated each other on a job well done in these tough conditions
6:15- finished with coffee afterward at HyVee
