12/11/2021:  Boys Town.  Approx. 30 degrees, wind SE at 10-12 mph with some slightly higher gusts.  Approximately one inch of fresh snow, with some ice on paved surfaces.

PAX:  7 total- Hey Hey, Vandelay, Dogecoin, Sprout, Cheap Seats, Borland, and Skipper

Q: Skipper.  Skipper presented the mission and disclaimers.

Warm-A-Rama:  the PAX immediately moseyed to the parking lot at intersection of Walsh Dr. and Doyle Dr. on Boys Town and performed 20 SSHs, 15 Merkins, 15 LBCs, 10 Windmills, 10 Imperial Walkers, 15 cherry pickers and 15 overhead arm claps.

Pre Thing:

The PAX then proceeded to the picnic tables on the way to the Boys Town track to do elevated exercises.  This included 15 dips, 15 derkins, 15 elevated LBCs and a 30 second elevated plank.  This set of exercises was repeated 3 times.  After approximately 10 minutes of these exercises, and getting hands cold on the ground, Skipper called “Omaha” and the PAX moved on to the Thing.

The Thing:

The PAX then moseyed to the Boys Town track for the Thing, in the snow.  The PAX divided into three groups and rotated among three pain stations.  First, push station, was 10 burpees.  Second station began with 50 LBCs, then on to 100 bb situps.  Third station began with 50 monkey humpers, then 100 pickle pushers, and then 150 overhead arm claps.  The PAX were to perform exercises in cadence with each other, keeping a cumulative total and picking up each time around where they left off the previous time.  No one got all the way through all the exercises, however.

The PAX conducted flutter kicks, Freddy Mercuries and a round of American hammers “Rancid style”.

No FNGs today.  Name A Rama was completed as normal.

Circle of Trust – Message from the Q- Skipper:

There is a Norwegian proverb that says basically “There is no bad weather, only bad clothing.”  As winter arrives we can all stay motivated to keep the exercise going.  It’s just a state of mind.
