PAX: Wait Time, Gator, Roadhouse, Water Boy, Overtime, Escobar, Hoser, Obi-Wan, Static, Ozark, Skipper, Room Service, Barn Door
Q: Barn Door
13 PAX arrived to receive the welcome and disclaimer.
We proceeded to Warm-a-rama in the parking lot:
15 IC SSH, 15 IC Tappy Taps, 15 IC Imperial Walkers, and 15 IC Cherry Pickers.
Next up was the Pre-Thang which consisted of a mosey around the site which was about ¾ of a mile with stops at three roundabouts.
- 1: Merkins – 20
- 2: Bonnie Blairs – 20 IC
- 3: Burpees – 10
After arriving back at the shovel flags we split into 4 man relay teams for the Thang. We had enough for 3 teams for the relay race.
The course was to run from the shovel flags, between the two buildings to the roundabout where we did 10 burpees. Then proceed around the East building and back to your team for the hand off. While one member from the team was running the race, the other three members were completing AMRAP exercises:
- #1: Merkins
- #2: Squats
- #3: Plank
- #4: Bonnie Blairs
We were able to complete 2 rounds of this for the relay race with a close finish at the end. However, Team Room Service, Static, Ozark and Skipper pulled off the come from behind win!
All teams were winners and were awarded with 10 additional burpees.
“Omaha” was called.
Wait Time called for heals to heaven – 15, Obi-Wan called for Low Dollys – 20, Room Service called for E2K – 15 each leg, Roadhouse called for Starfish Crunches – 15, and the PAX completed 2 rounds of Rancid Style American Hammers.
Circle of Trust:
- Announcements: Respect pop-up this Thursday and will be Ozarks VQ
- Prayers: Roadhouse is mentoring a boy through Boys and Girls Club and the boy is giving a speech today for the first time in front of a very large crowd.
“It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it.”
“When the number of options available is limited, it is foolish to fuss and fret. We should instead simply choose the best of them and get on with life. To behave otherwise is to waste precious time and energy.”

We all have the same 24 hours in a day, we need to be deliberate about how we are spending that 24 hours. Be intentional and present for all that are in your leadership or influence to help build them up and guide them. Spend time where it is best served.
