YHC – Ear Tag

Ear Tag showed up around 5 to set some cones up at the football field.  He then drove over to the PIT meeting place and was greeted by Ferdinand, Swiper, Diddy, KOA, Trench, & Animal Housefor a little pre run action.  After 3 ish miles we got back to the flags around 5:55

6:00am

Ear Tag welcomed the Pax to the PIT.  Advised of the 3 F’s , Fitness, Fellowship & Faith.

Reminding them of the mission to Plant, Serve and Grow small workout groups for the re-invigoration of male community leadership.

Went on to cover the 5 core principles of F3.

1) Open to ALL men.

2)  Always Free.

3) Always held outdoors

4) Lead in a rotating fashion

5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT).

Ear Tag is not a professional so modify as needed.

6:05 ish

PAX moseyed to the island for a little better lighting for the warmarama.  Did 20 side straddle hops, 20 big ones, 20 Goofballs, 20 sun gods and 20 tappy taps.  Ear Tag then advised the PAX to split up into 2 groups and chain ran off the island and to the west about a half mile where a cone was waiting for them by a guard rail.  We then split up into groups of 2 and one PAX did 20 dips, 20 merkins with feet on guardrail, 20 merkinswith hands on guardrail, and 20 alternating toe taps on the guardrail.   The other PAX member was to go to the top of the hill and do side straddle hops until the PAX member at the bottom was completed with there set and push them.  We did 3 sets.

6:23am

PAX then split into groups again and chain ran down to the football field.  Mumble chatter was a plenty as the run was a bit farther the PAX would like.   Once to the field Ear Tag advised the PAX to split into groups of 4 for a 2/4 man grinder.  2 PAX were to do run down to the other end of the football field while the other 2 were to do monkey humpers until the runners got back and start their count from there for a total of 75.  Did the same for burpees (75) Merkins (125) Big Boys (125) & air Squats (200) The PAX pushed hard and got through most of it and Ear Tag called Omaha around 6:50 ish.  The PAX had noticed a goal set up as Ear Tag had wanted to play a game.  Ear Tag advised we can play a game or head back as the PAX (mainly Ear Tag) was gassed.  PAX wanted to play so we practiced our QB skillz by throwing footballs into a small soccer net from around 20 yards out.   Ear Tag set up a cone in front of the net that you had to throw over, so no Taylor Martinez bounce passes were allowed.  If you were successful, you could call out an exercise, if not 5 burpees.  To the surprise of Ear Tag most PAX did a decent job, some fun was had.

Omaha was called again around 6:58 and we moseyed back to the flags.

Name-o-rama time, 16 PAX; Double Dip, Borat, Animal House, Chernoble, KOA, Tony the Tiger, Tenderfoot, Golden Pike, Simmons, Firewalker, Icy Hot, Mulch, Maaco, Feeny, Swiper, Ear Tag

Reminder to keep donating to project Pink!

COT:

Ear Tag advised the PAX the workout today was designed to be in small teams as we would talk about in the Q source.  Ear Tag advised F3 is a big team, and the Sarpy Swaggers are a part of the bigger team of F3 Omaha and F3 nation.  “The best teamwork comes from men who are working independently toward one goal in unison.” “The strength of the team is each individual member.  The strength of each member is the team”.

Swiper took us out in Prayer to Sky Q with the prayers mentioned above.
