Q – Stella

61 degrees

PAX: Huffy, Sven, Super Tasty, Honey Stinger, Tenderfoot, Edison, Smash Mouth, Bondsman,  Home, Bloodshot, Brazilian, Tin Cup, Safe Ride Samples (respect), Swinger, Cosmo, Knee Cap (respect), Lansbury, Toadstool, Stella, Foley (FNG!).

5:30 AM:  PAX met inside the field.  Shovel flag planted in the front.  YHC welcomed PAX, reviewed 5 Core Principles, Mission Statement and gave disclaimer.  We then took a ¾ of a lap mosey to meet in the middle for Warm-A-Rama.

Warm-A-Rama consisted of the following exercises:

  • SSH
  • Tappy taps
  • Windmills
  • Imperial Walkers

Pre-Thang:  We then headed to the stairs for a little Pre-Thang.  Together, all 21 PAX, started with 15 dips at base.  We then ran up the stairs for 15 IC Monkey Humpers IC.  We repeated this a few times increases reps by 5 to 20, 25 and ended with 30.  The Monkey Humpers burned… Some mumble chatter about this.

The Thang:  Today was a class 3-man 100-yard grinder beatdown.  We split into groups of 3 PAX, with one going to the North endzone to complete the below listed exercises cumulatively with the group.  For the other endzone, we had AMRAP rotating Big Boy’s, SSH, LBCs, SSH, Flutter Kicks and SSH.  The other group member sprinted 100 yard relieving the other group members.

  • 50 – Hand Release Merkins
  • 50 – Burpees
  • 50 –  Makhtar N’Diaye
  • 100 – Carolina Dry Docks
  • 100 IC – Alt Shoulder Taps
  • 100 – Crabwalk Touches (each foot = 1)
  • 200 – Bobbie Hurley’s
  • 200 – Air Squats
  • 200 – LBCs (not IC)

Omaha called at 6:07 AM.  Some mumble chatter about a later than usual OMAHA!  Most groups were made it to Air Squats.   Hopefully all PAX got a high-intensity workout with heart rate up.  We then met in the center for Mary, which consisted of Low Dolly’s, Box Cutters and 42 American Hammers (2 rounds Rancid Style).  We then did Name-A-Rama and named FNG Foley!  (The back story is he said he lived out of his car once… credit goes to Safe Ride) …. Prayer requests mentioned and noted.

Today’s COT was about being spontaneous.  YHC encouraged PAX to break the normal routine and do something spontaneous for your M, 2.0s, or someone in your life.  We get better when we occasionally mix things up.   YHC also got in 2 TWSS somehow in connect with the COT.

Coffee followed at Starbucks.  At coffee, a guy on his computer (Grant) asked about F3 and YHC invited him out.

Aye,

Stella
