First of all, my message today is not to judge or say any other Pax is wrong. Rather its a story of a mistake that I made, and just because what was wrong for me, might be correct for other Pax.

On Superbowl Sunday, I was talking on the phone with my brother and my M was sitting next to me on the couch. During my conversation with my brother, I mentioned how the Beatdowns every morning were the best part of my day. My wife grumbled at me, “Its not the best part of your day.” I laughed it off her grumbling, saying “You’re right honey, its not.”, <wink, wink, nudge, nudge to my brother on the phone>
Over the following days, I revisited why my M would have said that. My mistake might be obvious to you right away, but to be honest, I didn’t see what I had said was wrong. Of course, my M was right. The morning beatdowns should not be the best part of my day. I had my priorities out of alignment and my M called me out on it, rightfully so.

The best part of my day should be time spent with my M and 2.0s. At that time, I didn’t know what a man’s Concentrica was, but mine was definitely out of wack. Perhaps your time spent in the gloom is the best part of your day. And thats ok. Again, I use my example not to judge, but as an example as a reminder that each on of us should examine our priorities on a regular basis, and make sure they’re aligned with what is important in your life.
