Bubbles welcomed the PAX, gave the mission statement and the disclaimer. The PAX was informed that they would split into groups of 4 or 5, and each group would be responsible for carrying a coupon throughout the entire workout. Group members could pass it to one of their partners at any time throughout the workout.

This is the second time that I have led this exact same workout. I first led this workout a year and a half ago on 10/16/19. The reason I chose to redo this workout was one, it’s hard as hell, and hard is fun. But also I think it carries a good message. Sometimes we all need a little help.

Warm-A-Rama:

The PAX moseyed from the parking lot at Paradise Bakery to stop number one, US Bank parking lot. Coupons were allowed to be put down during exercises.

5 Burpees OYO were performed. PAX member holding the block had to do Blockees. After completion of the Blockees, a new PAX member ran with the coupon to our next location.

    • 5 Burpees OYO were performed. PAX member holding the block had to do Blockees. After completion of the Blockees, a new PAX member ran with the coupon to our next location.

CoT: 

We carry many things on our shoulders. The weight of an inner battle, a fight with someone you love, things at work, can all play a toll on our mindset and health. All of these things can build on us and make us sink into a dark place, where it feels as if we can’t get out. The coupon signified this weight and today’s workout showed us how we were able to hand off that weight to someone else. Sometimes it’s okay to ask for help, and it’s okay to reach out to someone else and express your feelings. As men, we like to keep things bottled up inside until we explode. Instead of letting it get to this point, have someone else take some of the weight for you. It’s okay to ask for help. You are all HIM.
