Saturday, May 22, 2021 – The Pit – Halleck Park Papillion – 6:00 a.m.

6:00 a.m. 12 PAX met at the Halleck Park Duck Pond for the Pit on a beautiful Saturday morning. Baby Shark introduced himself as the Q and discussed F3, the Mission Statement and 5 Core Principles. Baby Shark reminded PAX that he is not a professional and advised to modify as necessary.

6:05 a.m. Following the introductions, the group moseyed over to a grassy field near Papio Bay Aquatic Center for Warmarama and some additional exercises.

Warmarama: Led by Baby Shark. 15 Windmills. 15 Tappy Taps and 15 Imperial Walkers. This lead into a quick pre-thang that consisted of 3 sets of ATM’s (Alternating Shoulder Taps, Tempo Merkins and regular Merkins). Baby Shark asked for 10 count between the sets. To balance the ATM’s, Baby Shark led the group in 3 sets of CALM’s (15 Copperhead Squats, 10 Alternating Lunges and 10 Monkey Humpers).

6:15 a.m. Pre-Thang: The group did another mosey over to Lincoln road to setup near the guardrail where the group split into pairs. 1 member completed dips (AMRAP style) while their partner did a bear crawl up the small hill to complete 10 Carolina Dry Docks. 

6:30 a.m. Thang:  The triceps and shoulders were burning at this point, so the group wrapped up the Pre-Thang and went for another short mosey over to Halleck Park to find another grassy spot. The group created a larger circle with Baby Shark in the middle who miraculously pulled out a deck of cards. It was time for the deck of death.

Baby Shark assigned playing card suits to specific exercises.

                        Spades = Merkins

                        Clubs = Air Squats

                        Hearts = Burpees

                        Diamonds = LBC’s

                        10’s = 10 count

The number on the playing card equaled the reps and face cards were 10 and Aces were 11. Baby Shark pulled the cards and each PAX led the count. Through hard work and a steady pace, the group was able to complete all cards before Omaha was called. The ten counts came early and that Ace of Hearts (11 burpees) kept hidden to the near end. For those card counters, we knew it was coming.

Mary: The group performed 12 American Hammers in cadence with each PAX taking a turn.

Announcements: Brick Builder and social event for fundraising is June 11 and 12th. See Slack for more details. This is mental awareness month with an upcoming beatdown and half marathon run at Flanagan Lake.

Prayers: Continued prayers for Knobs and his family with his father starting hospice care. Prayers for the local community as we continue to search for the missing 11 year-old boy and prayers for the family in Bellevue who lost two young children. Prayers for the sad clowns and the PAX who may be struggling with injuries.

COT: You Do You. May 22nd marks the International being you day, which became a movement in roughly 2011 to create a space to explore, discover and celebrate each individual’s uniqueness. Baby Shark discussed how we have many similar interests and goals, but further discussed how we are each unique and that we should celebrate and explore those interests. Recognizing our uniqueness and individual strengths can help form bonds and make us stronger as a group. Being yourself and encouraging those around you to be proud of yourself is important. Baby Shark encouraged the PAX to recognize those unique traits in our families and close friends and take the time this weekend to do something special that recognizes such.
