Thoughts from Grillz COT:

F3 is the answer to sad clown syndrome.  As we grow deeper in male community leadership we must reject the world’s picture toxic of masculinity and embrace the true God given masculinity that has been put in the design of each man.

When talking to his sons, John Eldredge, author of Wild At Heart, tells the story of scolding his boys for being too rambunctious. He later reflected…

‘Don’t climb on that, don’t break anything, don’t be aggressive, don’t be noisy, don’t be so messy, don’t take such risks. But God’s design, which he placed in boys as the picture of Himself – is a resounding yes. Be fierce, be wild, be passionate.’ John Eldredge

All HIM are on a journey. We must cut through the noise of the world to search for the impact we were designed to make in life: with our families, in our community, at work, or the many other places we find ourselves during this journey. This final quote suggests we ask a different question…

‘Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself ‘what makes me come alive?’ because what the world, a wife, a child, needs is men who have come alive.’  John Eldredge

What makes you come alive? What reinvigorates you to strive toward true God given masculinity and male leadership?

Aye,

Grillz
