Despite being 6:00, YHC welcomed the PAX saying it was 5:30. It’s a holiday weekend. Time doesn’t matter and I’m still in a haze of sugar cookies and whiskey. The disclaimer and mission statement were given/ Notably I didn’t give the core principles. There were no new guys and the PAX were forgiving today so off we went anyway.
PAX moseyed around the school to the playground area and circled up. • High knees x 20 IC• Tappy taps – 10 IC• Cherry pickers – 10 IC• Imperial Walkers – 10 IC• Big Ones x 10 IC]• 5 Burpees OYO
The Pre Thang
PAX lined up on the baseline for a quick pre-thang consisting of:• Duck walk ½ of parking lot … high knees to the 6• Duck walk ½ parking lot … high knees to the 6• Lunge ½ of the parking lot … butt kickers to the 6• Lunge ½ of the parking lot … butt kickers to the 6• Rinsed and repeated one time
PAX counted off into two groups before taking a long mosey around the school and lined up along the building at the top of the hill.
Originally was going to be a 3-man grinder (Khakis, respect) but my printer wasn’t working, so we audibled. I had enough for one sheet as a reference. One group would start by running down the hill to a set of cones, do a burpee and run back up the hill. While that was going on, the other group would do AMRAP of an exercise until the 6 was in, then switch places. – Flutter Kicks- Merkins w/ Row- Alternating Lunges- Carolina Dry Dock- SSH- Moroccan Night Clubs- Chili Jacks- LBCs- Mahktar N’ Diayes- Calf Raises
Upon completing a round of these, the PAX mosed around the entire school and repeated. We got through two full rounds and a few extras before Omaha was called and the PAX moseyed to the parking lot for Mary.
6 MoM- Gas pumpers x 15 IC- Low Dollies x 25 on open (Wafflehouse, Respect)- American Hammers rancid style (18 total)- Back plank was held and counted rancid style around the circle as well. – Omaha
“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of another.” – Charles Dickens
In a season wrapped up with monetary items, the glitz and the glamor of the holidays, remember that the true giving that matters is that which lightens another’s burdens. We can do that in this group, but as leaders it’s critical that we do that for others. Not just to spread the message of F3, but to truly make our community better and stronger.
Prayers/Announcements• CSAUP January 2, 6:01 a.m. starting at Cornhusker• F3 Foundation launches at the CSAUP helping raise scholarship funds for youth in our community. Thanks to Sparty and others for starting this venture.• There will be a pop up beat down at 17:30 on Tuesday, December 29.
YHC took us out in prayer.
