Duck, Duck, Fire!
PAX in a circled in plank position. One left the circle to do 10 (as recommended by FDIC) pullups. They finished pullups and then ran to their original location and yelling “Fire!” sending the PAX into a Fire Drill (aka Tootsie Roll). That sent next guy off to do their pull ups while we continued planking.

YHC heard some encouraging mumblechatter and gripes including “Great. So we are holding a plank for 30 min. Thanks U-Haul.” Then a few minutes into it, a quieter “I love you U-Haul.” This all encouraged YHC and warmed his heart. We even mixed it up with 10 Carolina Dry Docks! We could have planked for the rest of the time but we had a grinder to get to…
Just after 5:50am we recovered and then counted off into groups containing the number 5.
Mosey to behind the school for The Thang and lined up in group 1 – 5 at the lower end of the hill. YHC explained very briefly, about the rules of the grinder and I could have explained it in more detain for sure. I did a quick look around and to my relief saw that everyone was getting the hang of it pretty quickly. Smart leaders. Learned by doing.
The Thang:
2 (or 3) stayed while 2 (or 3) sprinted up the hill.
At the station. 2 (or 3) started the group with.. 50 Burpees
100 Alternating Leg Lunges
150 Merkins
200 Big Boy Sit-Ups 250 Squats
2 (or 3) Sprinted up the small hill and did rotating through one set at a time to then sprint back and pick up the count of the grind.

(Forgot to do a Count-a-rama), but did a Name-a-rama,

T.C. = Last week of Queen Service. If you are not in Queen Service Round 2, We need your pounds! You can weigh in today to lose a few pounds before MONDAY DEC 21st. We would take it!
Armbar, Roadhouse = CSAUP Jan, 2nd 2021! Starts at 6am. More details to come!
Tubesocks = Prayers for an anonymous PAX member whose wife is moving through a difficult time. Send them your thoughts and your care to her.
“When I VQed at Futurama two weeks ago, later that morning, Armbar congratulated me and quickly asked me to Q here. My initial reaction was “no”. I can’t do it. It’s too soon. I won’t be able to follow what I did. But I said “Yes” anyway. And then later Armbar told me “We like to get creative at Top Rope.” Cool. I don’t anything about Professional Wrestling. Now I am really out of my comfort zone! Leading a group of committed modern-day warriors whom I admire on their turf?! The question comes back to me, what do I got to offer? Who do I see myself as?
Today I offer you the all-important question that fundamentally fuels the consistent practice of 1% growth each day…. Identity. Who do you see yourself as? Who do you believe you are and who do you wish to become? I could look around this circle and tell you that I see leaders, friends, loving, committed warriors, but is that who you believe yourself to be?
Writing down my Identities has proven to be successful for just putting clothes on in the morning before a beatdown.
We contain multitudes. You can choose who you decide to be and then back that up with the 1% growth every day, every week, or every month. Then it doesn’t matter if you fail or not. With every action, no matter how small or infinitesimal, you are casting a vote for the person with who you believe yourself to be. You choose your identity. So..”

I choose not to be a common man,
It is my right to be uncommon if I can,
I seek opportunity not security.
I do not wish to be a kept citizen, Humbled and dulled by having the State look after me.
I want to take the calculated risk;
To dream and to build.
To fail and to succeed.
I refuse to live hand to mouth;
I prefer the challenges of life
To the guaranteed existence;
The thrill of fulfillment
To the stale calm of Utopia.
I will never cower before any master Nor bend to any threat.
It is my heritage to stand up.
Proud and unafraid;
To think and act for myself,
And to face the world boldly and say: This, is Who I Am and what I have done.
“Thank you for allowing me to cast a vote for my own leadership today.”
SkyQ, Thank you for this morning, thank you for these men and their families. Our love goes out to our fellow PAX member and his wife and support them in this time. Thank you for giving us this moment of silence in which we can think about who we are and who we have yet to be………….. With this precious time and in this season, help us to seize the opportunity we have to help make this world a little better today than it was yesterday. Amen.
Aye! U-Haul
