AO – The Colosseum

As I pull into the parking lot, there are only 6 cars… Nice. I knew it would be a smaller crowd with a new AO starting today (congrats Knobs!), and Lucky Charms calling out 15 guys on Twitter (if you get tagged, you have to show at that AO!).

Standard intro is given, and PAX told to modify as needed, and to be present in the moment.

Warm’O’Rama- 2 laps around the track. Circled up. 25 SSH, 20 Hillbillies, 15 high knees, 15 tappy taps, 10 Windmills, 20 sun gods, 15 copper head squats.

Pre-Thang- EMOM Tabata

20 seconds on, 10 seconds off. Start the music, and timer… Merkins, rest, merkins, rest squat jumps, rest, squat jumps, rest, merkins, rest, merkins, rest, squat jumps, rest, squat jumps rest, big boys, rest, big boys rest, mt. climbers, rest, mt. climbers, rest, , big boys, rest, big boys rest, mt. climbers, rest, mt. climbers, rest, PJS (plank jack shoulder taps), rest, PJs, rest, air squats, rest, airsquats, rest, PJs, rest, Air squats. Done. 

The only comment made was Stella saying “why no mumber chatter and so quiet?!?!”.

The Thang-

Broke into 2 groups. Each group started on one end of the east stairs. Ran up to the top, 10 burpees, back down the same set of stairs, and jogged around the track. When PAX reached the other side, they sprinted across the field and up the next set of stairs. 10 Burpees at the top and back down and around the track. Rinse and repeat until Omaha called.

Circle up for 6 MOM: Flutter kicks, ski abs, gas pumpers, hammers.


Announcements- giving Tuesday.  

Prayers- Splinter’s 8th child is due in 2 months. M is fine, he’s freaking out. Huffy’s grandpa passed away.  

COT- forgot to give my COT. My bad… was going to be about being in the moment… but my head was elsewhere. Sorry gents.
