At 6:57am, I do a quick head count. 20 guys… perfect. I then look and 6 guys come running in from the north… 26 guys; OK, that’ll work still. 6:59, about to start, and 7 more guys come running in from the south; 33 guys. Damn- I forgot this is Papillion, home of the Sandlot and everyone is a prerunner here. No problem, I’ll make it work.

Standard intro is given, 1 FNG welcomed, and PAX told to modify, but not before they actually need to. You can do more than you think…

Warm’O’Rama- 2 laps around the lake. Stopped 3 times on the second lap for warmup stations. 25 SSH, 20 Imperial Walkers, 15 high knees, 15 tappy taps, 10 Windmills, 20 sun gods, 15 cherry pickers, 15 copper head squats. Mozie to the soccer field.

Pre-Thang- EMOM

45 seconds on, 15 seconds off. Start the music, and timer… and the mumble chatter becomes sparse. Merkins/squat jumps/merkins/squat jumps; Big Boys/Mt. Climbers, etc; alternating shoulder taps/plank,etc.

Look over and BetaMax has a yardsale of clothing… he’s down to a t-shirt. That was horrible… looked way better on paper.  After 12 minutes, we mozie to the football field.

The Thang-

Broke into 4 groups. Each group started on one of the corners of the track. Did a step up workout with a 200 meter run after each stop. 3 burpees & run; 3 burpees/4 merkins & run; 3 burpees/4 merkins/ 5 bobby hurleys & run; 3 burpees/4 merkins/5 bobby hurleys/6 WW2 situps & Run; 3 burpees/4 merkins/5 bobby hurleys/6 WW2 situps/7 apollo ohnos & Run; 3 burpees/4 merkins/5 bobby hurleys/6 WW2 situps/7 apollo ohnos/8 dry docks & Run, 3 burpees/4 merkins/5 bobby hurleys/6 WW2 situps/7 apollo ohnos/8 dry docks/9 air squats & Run; 3 burpees/4 merkins/5 bobby hurleys/6 WW2 situps/7 apollo ohnos/8 dry docks/9 air squats/ 10 werkins & Run.

Omaha was called, and ran back to shovel flags.

6 minutes of mary were started at 7:58. We only did 4 minutes.
