Co-Q: Nemo (Hate-Hate) and Patton

It was a balmy 35 degrees with 92% humidity. 41 PAX were gathered at 0515. Nemo and Patton welcomed 2 FNG’s. Covered the mission, core principles and disclaimer. Warm-a-rama led by Patton the group ran three quarters of the track and met near the east end zone. During the run, there was a lot of mumble chatter about the radio-active glow of the football field. Unbeknown to the PAX, Patton had called ahead the evening before to get new lines added to the football field. When the General speaks, others listen. The PAX circled and were in position for Warm-a-rama.

The Thang. THE BEAST

Patton and Nemo put cones on the freshly painted, 25 yard, 50 yard, and 25 yard lines of the football field. The PAX counted of in a group of 6, no man left behind. For set 1, the PAX did 6 reps of the exercise, sprint to the second cone, do six more reps, sprint to the third cone, do six more reps, sprint to the end line, turn around, sprint to the third cone (six reps), the second cone (six reps), the first cone (six reps), back to the starting point. So for each exercise, the PAX doing down and back sprint divided up by six stops to do six reps of the exercise at each stop. The PAX completed this for six different exercises: Merkins, SSH (IC), Diamond Merkins, Monkey Humpers (IC), Crucible Merkins, and Copperhead Squats.

Music playing during the beatdown was by Madison Rising. The songs were “Amazing America”, “Walking Through That Door”, “Soldiers of America”, “Lock N’ Load”, “The Marines Hymn”, and “The Star Spangled Banner”.  Omaha was called at 0542, and the PAX was instructed to gather around the speaker in honor of prior military and in recognition of our country.

The PAX moseyed back to the parking lot for MOM.

15-LBC’s (IC) led by Nemo

10-Right Hand Oh Yeah’s (IC) a shoutout to Roadhouse led by Nemo

10-Left Hand Oh Yeah’s (IC) led by Patton.

The PAX gathered around Patton and Nemo. Patton reflected on his first F3 workout. The thought of someone having your six, was not a thought before that workout. It took him a while to figure out that FDIC, Sparty, Armbar and countless others had his six, and in the end it meant a lot to Patton. Patton also thanked the PAX for always being there and their support of Nemo. It takes a village to raise a child and F3 is part of Pattons village. Nemo thanked the PAX for making it feel more like a family. Roadhouse is like a brother and Tator Tot made him feel welcomed.
