Oct.1 2020 –Halleck Park, Papillion: 46 degrees; Clear and breazy – Q: Gunner
PAX: Knobs, Trench, Tony the Tiger, KOA, Zorro, Nancy, 8 Mile, Biggie Smalls, Jean-Claude
Once again, this workout was a straight-up, Old-fashioned distance run. Due to coming up .2 miles short of running 4 total miles last week, a strong suggestion came from the Pax to make up that .2 miles this week.
We all agreed to run, what is now referred to as “8-Mile’s High School Route.” This is a brilliant running route as it incorporates 2 good hills running to Papillion/ LaVista High School. This running route is well lit and pretty safe along 84th street at 5:30 am.
A couple faster pace Pax (Trench and Jean-Cluade) was able to perform an additional running lap around the high school.
“8-Mile’s High School Route” is a total of 4.2 miles and all Pax complete the distance in 40 minutes.
