5:30 AM – PAX met by the shovel flags. Welcome FNG. 5 Core Principles and mission statement given. Welcomed FNG and disclaimer given. PAX did 3/4 lap mosey at met in the middle of the field for Warm-A-Rama.
Warm-A-Rama had the following: SSH; Tappy Taps; Windmills; Mountain Climbers; High knees; Butt Kicks.
Pre Thang: Involved some “monkeying around the stairs”. PAX started at north side of home stairs. Mosey up to the top, did 5 IC Monkey Humpers, mosey down next set and do 10 monkey humpers at the bottom, continue pattern (increase by 5) for the entire set of stairs. Ended with 25 IC.
The Thang: PAX Split into groups for a 3 man grinder. We initially had 3 groups of 3 and one group of 4. About halfway through The Thang, Jeezes rolled in hot and immediately joined the grinder. List of AMRAP exercises in opposite endzones. Other group member sprinted 100 yards from endzone to endzone, relieving and taking over for teammate.
- North Endzone: Merkins, Alt. Shoulder Taps, Air Squats, Carolina Dry Docks, Bonnie Blairs, Hand Release Merkins.
- South: Bobby Hurley’s, Big Boys, Mountain Climbers, Crabwalk Touches, Sungods, Lunges.
Omaha called at 6:07am.
Mary consisted of Flutter Kicks, Low Dolly, Freddy Mercury’s, LBCs and American Hammers.
COT: 14 PAXCounted off. Namarama, Welcomed and named FNG: Cheers!, Announcements: Keep an eye out for upcoming rucking events and shovel handoffs. Short COT about being present in the moment.
