The PAX moseyed north to the middle soccer field. They split up in four groups. Each group went to one corner of the soccer field to start the round. One round is four corners. They sprinted/moseyed in between each corner. Each group could not pass up the other groups. Each group had to do Al Gore’s until the group ahead moved on. Each group also had to Al Gore till everyone was done with each round. Each round had a different exercise and rounds 1-4 increased by 7 reps each time. Rounds 5-7 decreased by 7 reps each time.

Gipper’s Message

Saturday, September 5, 2020 is the Catholic Feast Day of St. Teresa of Calcutta. She is also known as Mother Teresa. She served the poorest of the poor all over the world, especially in India with love and compassion. Gipper shared a few of her quotes:

“Everyone today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of peace in the world.”

“If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.”

“It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start.”

“Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”

“Help one person at a time and always start with the person nearest you.”

Gipper then reflected on these quotes. If we want to change the world and make it a better, more peaceful place, it starts with us. It starts in our homes and in our groups. We need to show love and compassion to our wife, kids, parents, siblings, group members, etc.

He challenged the PAX to go home, be present with your family. Show them love and compassion and be there for them. And don’t forget to smile. It starts with us…spread the love.
