Q: Uncle Rico
Uncle Rico welcomed 15 PAX to a beautiful morning at Wild Kingdom. Stated the 5 core principals of F3, open to all men, always free, always outside no matter the weather, peer led in a rotating fashion, always ends in the COT though he stumbled on this part because his brain wasn’t functioning right. Mission of F3 to plant, serve and grow small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.
PAX moseyed to warm-a-rama.
Warm-A-Rama• SSH 30 IC• Hill Billies – 20 IC• Tappy Taps – 20IC• Windmills – 10IC• Moseyed to a second area to finish warm-a-rama• Derkins (using the barricades to put our feet on)– 20• Bat wings – no extra credit this time and I spared everyone Failure to Launch 😊
PAX moseyed to the first soccer field for the Thang where we played soccer, well kind of. We divided into two groups, one group had to bear crawl while the other group had to duck walk.Once a goal was scored then the teams had to switch from bear crawl to duck walk and vice versa. The game was very interesting with a little more grabbing and throwing the ball than hitting or kicking the ball and the comradery was great. The game lasted just short of 20 minutes. The score was talked about plenty in good fun so I will leave that part off as the point was to have fun and push through even though our muscles got sore from the positions we were in.
Omaha was called and PAX Circled up for mary
6MOM:• X-factor – 30IC (Uncle Rico couldn’t remember the name of this one as he did it at one of The Plagues workouts and thinks he blacked out around the time The Plague said it’s name)• Flutter kick – 30 IC• Hammer – 50 IC
Announcements/COT:• Uncle Rice talked about that most people in F3 Omaha that has been to one of his Q’s or is on Slack knows about his depression but not very many in F3 Omaha knows that he tried to commit suicide many years ago. He talked about how it didn’t work and there was no valid reason in our minds for why it didn’t work. Uncle Rico took away from this that there was a purpose for his life and he hasn’t tried since. The struggle is still there with depression but deep down he knows that he has a purpose and that he is important. And he wants everyone to know that they are important whether they feel they are or not. Everyone’s life is important and most of the time we are important to more people than we could even imagine. He encouraged everyone to reach out for support of our brothers whenever they are struggling because the struggle is real and to more people than most will ever know. We need to be there for one another. Each and everyone one of us matter and are extremely important!!!!!!!!!!• Clown car to Lincoln on the 19th for a workout with our brothers from there.
