Q: Safe Ride
Safe Ride welcomed the PAX to F3 Omaha at 7am. The Mission Statement and Disclaimer were given. The Sampler then began
The PAX moseyed from the school parking up the street and back to the playground at the back side of the school. Total distance was approximately 1/2 of a mile. Once at the location, the following exercises were performed:
- Imperial Walkers
- Tappy Taps
- High knees
- Butt kickers
The Sampler! In honor of our brother Samples, who turned 52 this week, Safe Ride decided to inflict some pain. The PAX was told to do 52 reps of one exercise, in honor of Samples, and then run to the shovel flags and back. The following exercises were performed:
Safe Ride called Omaha at 7:49 to give us some time for some Mary.
- Freddy Mercury’s
- Flutter Kicks
- Big Boys
- American Hammers
Safe Ride read the following quote: “Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don’t quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don’t quit until you reach it. Never quit.” – Bear Bryant. We all have personal, fitness, professional goals. Hopefully, we attain those goals. However, if/when goals are reached people inevitably say “now what”. Well, follow the advice of Bear Bryant. Don’t be satisfied. Set another, tougher, goal and keep grinding until you reach it.
In addition, TCLAPS to our man, Samples. He recently turned 52 and has been an inspiration to Safe Ride. He’s in the gloom each day and truly a positive force in F3 Omaha. He’s a genuine leader. He’s also a fellow non-coffee drinker but still a regular at Coffeeteria. Safe Ride suggests we all strive to be a positive influence like our brother. Aye!
