The Pre – Thang:

Complete the following exercises x3

20 (IC) Oh Yea’s (10 ea. arm)

20 (D)  Bobby Hurleys 

After the third set, bear crawl back to the other cone to begin The Thang.

The Thang:

Complete the following exercises:

10 (IC) LBC’s

10 (D) Merkins

10 (IC) Gas Pumpers

10 (D) Dive Bombers

10 (D) Squat Jumps

– Sprint to the other cone and complete the following exercises:

15 (IC) Freddie Mercurys 

15 (D) Carolina Dry Docks

15 (IC) Starfish 

15 (IC) Plank Jacks 

15 (D) Squat Jumps  

– Sprint back to the first cone and repeat the first exercise, increase the reps by 5 collectively, each time. 

Rinse and add until 6:05am

  • Rancid handed out “beatdown donuts” for breakfast to G.2 and was a savage at the execution of the beatdown… Thanks Slow Pitch and Two-Step :D. 
  • Tater Tot had “Technical Gunner Difficulties” during G.3 Name-a-Rama.
  • Your boy of G.1 dropped the winkie, messed up the pre-thang and some of the exercises. G.1 had some challenges, sorry y’all! 😀  but we made it!

CoT:

Take a moment and reflect on how you are using your energy in your daily life. When you wake up each morning, ask yourself what your goals are for the day… How are you going to use your energy to ensure you reach your goal? Could you use your energy to workout? Could you use your energy to read a book? Could you use your energy to learn something new? These are all questions you should ask yourself if you’re trying to move forward in life. 

Sure, you could use your energy and do nothing, if that is something you desire. However, if you choose to use your energy negatively, you will have a negative outcome. As HIM, I feel that is not an option for us. We take the initiative to workout in some kind of way in our lives. We have HIM who are posting, who are doing the virtual workouts, who are running/biking/rucking… we are using our energy productively and this is why we are HIM of F3 Omaha. 

It’s great to be back and great to see brothers in person and through Slack. The energy from this morning was so positive and thank you to everyone for just jumping in and learning how to execute the workouts with local guidelines and social distancing… Yea, it’s a transition and it’s going to feel awkward at times.  Trust me, I wanted to hug every single one of you this morning and it was really tough not to. Watch out, once we’re able to be close, prepare for the hugs. I have a lot of ENERGY to give. 😀
