10/4/19 | Golden Spike AO | Burke High | 44 Degrees, Humid and Drizzling Rain
PAX: Wait Time, Safe Ride, Blue Suede, Fire Walker, Lucky Charms, Jean Claude, Selleck, The Curse, Slow Pitch, FDIC, Vandalay, Placebo, Stretch, Dufresne, Pele, Crocs, Tonight Show, Tin Cup, Mufasa, Uncle Rico, Big One, Low Man, Khakis
Heightened security at Burke High required an extra long entry mosey to access the football field. PAX gathered around the center of the field for some Warmarama.
Pre-Thang – Bowser’s Burpees
Nobody could remember why these are called Bowser’s but they sure were effective:
1 Burpee w/1 pushup
2 Burpees w/2 pushups after 2nd burpee
3 Burpees w/3 pushups after 3rd burpee
4 Burpees w/4 pushups after 4th burpee
5 Burpees w/5 pushups after 5th burpee
Back down the ladder to 1
PAX divided up into groups of 6 – and then into pairs. One pair started on the field, another at the top the East bleachers on the North side and the last pair running to push the other groups. By the lanterns on the field and at the top of bleachers each pair drew a card from the F3 deck and performed the prescribed exercise until pushed to relief. Great opportunity for some fellowship with paired partners. Some took greater advantage than others (Selleck, Placebo….).

Confidence matters. We need to be confident men to lead a life we can be proud of but challenge yourself to ask whether that confidence comes from arrogance or humility. Confidence that is arrogant is corrosive and will lead to failure, confidence from humility will empower you to success. Make sure you go out into the world today with humble confidence. Aye.
