Futurama AO/Memorial Park/ 52 Degrees
Pax: 15 – Tenderfoot, Honk Honk, Khakis (Respect!), Honey Stinger, Safe Ride, No Doze, Cyclone (Respect!), Light Year, Billy Boots, Selleck, Liverpool (Respect!), Slow Pitch, CSI, Polaroid
American and City of Omaha Shovel Flags were planted as a beautiful morning greeted the 15 PAX. Mission, disclaimer and principles were given. Attention was given to this as attorneys were present among the PAX. Not a professional!
Stairs were to be avoided this morning as the PAX took a quick lap around the park to get the morning started.

Numbered off and partnered up. Partners we selected by dividing 14 by 2. Evidently not every number is divisible by two in this manner so adjustments were made…
The PAX would complete the exercises together adding their reps together to reach the total of each. One would mosey down the hill, knock out 10 SSH and return to the start to relieve their partner. Each time relieved they would switch off which side they ran down, forming a horseshoe within the AO. Personally, Polaroid felt like SSH are an underrated exercise when repeated. These can add up, which they did today.
Tater Tot provided the tunes and we were off.

Rinse and Repeat as necessary!
Questions and chatter arose throughout, specifically surrounding the number of hand release merkins. A not so surprising number of the PAX lost count and were encouraged to start over at this point.
All Pax made it through one round and Omaha was called!

COT: Polaroid spoke to the PAX about his interpretation of just what a HIM is and how it has evolved since finding F3. There is nothing wrong with admitting problems and challenges you face day to day. Facing your challenges forces accountability. A HIM must press forward and put others before himself, have a servant heart. It is easy to get stuck in the lukewarm corridor. On the surface you do things the right way and are perceived as doing so. However, internally your motivations are selfish. A HIM should fill the cup of others and not just take. PAX were asked to take a minute out of their day and spend time or talk with someone who in the past they’ve looked past.
