YHC welcomed 7 strong pax to the early morning not so gloomy. The disclaimer and mission were given and there were no FNGs present so the pax moseyed directly to the johns and jumped right into the pre-thang.

Pre-Thang:
The pre-thang consisted of some very normal exercises with only a wall required to complete them. There was some grumbling as we got into it but I’m ever the optimist so here’s how it went down.

  • Dirty Hook Up IC x 10
  • Tater-Taps IC x 15
  • Ascending Testicles IC x 10
  • Chicken Peckers IC x 10

6MOM:
Consisted of Captain Therkin for 4 rounds. At that point a halt was called to the festivities.

COT: YHC reviewed some statistics that are normal for men in America. All highly scientific because they were on the internet.

  • 36.6% Percent of men aged 20 and over with obesity
  • 33.1% Percent of men aged 20 and over with hypertension (measured high blood pressure and/or taking antihypertensive medication)
  • Men make up ~55% of the workforce, but account for 92% of all workplace deaths.
Lack of preventative care means men die on average almost 5 years earlier than women.
  • 40-50% of marriages end in divorce
  • 1 in 4 children grow up without a father
  • Men are more likely than women to use almost all types of illicit drugs
  • For most age groups, men have higher rates of use or dependence on illicit drugs and alcohol than do women.

John F Kennedy said “Do not pray for easy lives.  Pray to be stronger men.”

The men of F3 are anything but normal. YHC encouraged all PAX with the following scriptures. To the younger pax you are truly extraordinary. Very few 20 somethings get out at 5:30 am to accelerate their lives.
1 Timothy 4:12 – Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

To the more seasoned PAX continue the fight against the grain, to be rebellious and not join the statistics of what is normal.
1 Timothy 6:11-12 11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Wait Time asked for prayers for the family of Mark, a long time friend who passed away under tragic circumstances.
Tonight Show closed in prayer for the families affected by tragedy and that men would continue to be abnormal. To pursue greatness and refuse to accept the standard that culture has set for men.

Grace and Peace, SYITG!
